📅 Welcome to the Richmond School Board’s Two-Week Time Machine.
Want to speak to the Board about something that is about to be decided?
There’s just one problem. The Richmond School District requires delegation requests to be submitted two weeks before the meeting, while public meeting agendas are posted only a few days before the meeting.
And delegations are not the same thing as Questions from the Public. Questions from the Public are limited to questions or brief statements about agenda items. They are not a substitute for giving a member of the public a meaningful opportunity to make a full presentation to the Board.
It’s time to get rid of the Two-Week Time Machine.
