The Richmond School Board Gets a FAILING Grade on Governance and Public Input!
Report cards are meant to give parents an honest assessment of where students are succeeding and where they need to improve.
So we applied the same principle to school board governance.
After reviewing the current board’s record on transparency, public participation, accountability, and governance, we have had to give the current Board of Trustees a rare failing grade.
There is room for improvement.
On October 17, Richmond voters have the opportunity to choose a different direction for school-board governance.
