Kevin Lai, Chair of Advance Richmond, said he was honoured to be invited by Master Chen Boliang to attend the closing tea reception of his exhibition and to view a selection of works created over the past decades. 列治文前進聯盟主席 Kevin Lai 賴彥宏表示，很高興能受陳柏梁大師邀請，出席其畫展閉幕茶會，欣賞他數十年來創作的部分作品。
He noted that Master Chen’s work blends Eastern and Western artistic approaches, presenting a unique style where different elements interact and come together, with fine details reflecting years of dedication and mastery. 他指出，陳大師以中西融合的手法，呈現出不同藝術元素之間的碰撞與重組，風格獨特而富有深度，細膩的筆觸亦展現出多年累積的功力與造詣。
Kevin Lai also expressed his gratitude for the handwritten piece, “Great blessings gather to those with generosity; success belongs to those with patience,” which serves as a meaningful reminder and encouragement. Kevin Lai 亦感謝陳大師贈送手稿「多福集於大度者，成功專在耐心人」，作為時刻的提醒與勉勵。
He added that the message reflects not only personal values, but also the spirit of public service, embracing diverse views with openness and advancing change with patience in order to build a more stable and livable community. 他表示，這句話不僅體現個人修養，亦反映公共服務應有的態度，以包容面對不同意見，以耐心推動改變，致力為市民建立更穩定、更宜居的社區。
He also said he was pleased to have the opportunity to connect with more artists and painters in Vancouver through the event. 他亦表示，很高興能藉此機會，認識更多在溫哥華從事創作的畫家與藝術家。
