【A Meaningful Long Weekend in the Community】 【長週末，我們繼續走進列治文社區】
Over the Victoria Day long weekend, the Advance Richmond team took part in several community events across Richmond. From public safety and community care to faith, culture, and conversations about the future of British Columbia, it was great to see so many residents continuing to stay involved in the community. 剛過去的維多利亞日長週末，列治文前進聯盟 Advance Richmond 團隊參與了多場列治文社區活動。由社區安全、宗教慈善，到卑詩省未來發展與公共事務交流，我們很高興見到仍然有很多市民願意關心社區、參與社區。
On May 16, we attended the Opening Ceremony of the 12th Safety & Secure Living Fair organized by Vancouver Chinese Christian Mission in Richmond-Bridgeport. The event brought together RCMP officers, social service organizations, community leaders, and residents to discuss public safety, fraud prevention, mental health, drug prevention, and support for newcomers to Canada. 5月16日，我們出席了由溫哥華中信中心舉辦的第十二屆「安全與安居博覽會」開幕禮。活動匯聚皇家騎警、社福機構、社區領袖及居民，一同關注公共安全、防騙、精神健康、預防毒品及協助新移民等議題。
On May 17, we were honoured to attend the annual Buddha Bathing Ceremony hosted by Tzu Chi at their Richmond farm. The ceremony was a meaningful reminder of compassion, gratitude, and the importance of supporting one another within the community. 5月17日，我們亦有幸出席慈濟於列治文農場舉辦的一年一度浴佛典禮。在莊嚴平和的氣氛下，大家共同祈福淨心，亦再次提醒我們，在今天的社會，人與人之間的關懷與互相扶持比以往更加重要。
On May 18, we also attended a community meet and greet event in Richmond featuring BC Conservative leadership candidate Iain Black. Residents discussed the future of British Columbia, affordability, public safety, and rebuilding confidence in government leadership. 5月18日，我們亦參與了於列治文舉行、由卑詩保守黨黨領候選人柏毅恩（Iain Black）出席的社區交流聚會。現場有不少市民參與，一同討論卑詩省未來發展、生活成本、公共安全，以及如何重建市民對政府與公共政策的信心。
Across all three events, one thing was very clear: people care deeply about their communities. Residents want safer neighbourhoods, practical solutions, and leaders who are willing to listen. 而在這三場活動之中，其實都反映出同一件事：市民仍然十分關心自己的社區。大家關注社區安全、實際民生問題，以及政府是否願意真正聆聽市民聲音。
Advance Richmond believes community leadership is not only about elections. It is about staying connected with residents, supporting local organizations, and continuing to show up in the community. 列治文前進聯盟 Advance Richmond 一直相信，真正的社區領導，不只是選舉，而是持續走進社區、支持本地團體，並與不同背景的居民保持聯繫。
Thank you to all the organizers, volunteers, faith groups, professionals, and community members who continue to help make Richmond a stronger and more connected city. 感謝所有主辦單位、義工、宗教團體、專業人士及社區朋友，一直默默為列治文付出，令這個城市變得更加安全、更有人情味、更團結。
