Official Statement
Advance Richmond strongly objects to the recent post circulating online that uses photographs taken at public events to suggest political relationships or endorsements that we have never made.
Attending or appearing together at a public event does not constitute a political endorsement. Using such photographs to make assumptions about Advance Richmond’s position is misleading.
The post also refers to polling data whose methodology, sample size, source and accuracy are unknown to us. Advance Richmond was not involved in conducting or commissioning this poll and cannot verify the accuracy of the information being presented.
We want to make our position absolutely clear:
Advance Richmond has made no public endorsement of any mayoral candidate.
Any claim suggesting otherwise does not represent the official position of Advance Richmond unless it comes directly from our organization.
We condemn the creation or distribution of false or misleading information intended to damage the reputation of Advance Richmond or its candidates.
Advance Richmond reserves all legal rights regarding any person or organization that knowingly fabricates or distributes false information intended to harm our reputation.
We encourage voters to verify information through our official communications rather than relying on assumptions, unofficial lists, photographs taken out of context, or unverified polling.

列治文前進聯盟對近日網上流傳的一則帖文表示強烈反對。該帖文使用在公開活動場合拍攝的照片，並據此暗示本團隊與特定政治人物存在政治合作或支持關係，而這並非我們曾經作出的表態。
在公開活動中出席、合照或同場出現，並不代表政治背書或支持。利用這類照片推斷列治文前進聯盟的政治立場，容易對公眾造成誤導。
該帖文同時引用所謂民調數據，但有關民調的方法、樣本數量、資料來源及準確性，我們均不知情。列治文前進聯盟並沒有參與或委託這項民調，因此我們無法確認相關數據是否準確。
我們在此清楚重申：
列治文前進聯盟至今沒有公開支持或背書任何一位市長候選人。
除非有關訊息直接來自列治文前進聯盟的正式公開表態，任何聲稱本團隊支持特定市長候選人的說法，均不代表我們的官方立場。
我們譴責任何意圖損害列治文前進聯盟或本團隊候選人聲譽，而製造或散播虛假或誤導資訊的行為。
對於任何明知不實，仍蓄意製造或散播虛假資訊以損害本團隊聲譽的個人或組織，列治文前進聯盟保留一切法律追究權利。
我們呼籲選民透過列治文前進聯盟的官方渠道核實資訊，不要以未經證實的名單、斷章取義的公開活動照片，或來源及方法不明的民調，來判斷本團隊的政治立場。
